About the Content on This Page
To give you a better sense of where ePortfolios fit with learning, I've placed a number of resources here for you. "The Future of Learning Environments" was created by Educause. It talks about our digital world and how it affects how we learn. The video from Ken Robinson shares a new paradigm for education. "What is a PLE" is only a minute long and gives you an idea of what a PLE (Personal Learning Environment) might include. And "Welcome to my PLE" provides an excellent examlpe of an eighth grader's PLE.
I've also included links to two graphics. One is by Helen Barrett, who has studied and promoted ePorrtfolios for many years. Scott Leslie presents a graphic where he combines ideas from a collection of graphics about PLEs.
